Annual Scarf Ceremony Honors 50th Reunion Alumnae (2022)

2022 50th Reunion Scarf Ceremony  2022 50th Reunion Scarf Ceremony

With the resumption of in person reunions on the MIT campus in May of 2022 the AMITA board of directors was excited to once again host a scarf ceremony for those alumnae attending their 50th reunion and donning their red jackets for the very first time. Celebrating the three fiftieth reunion classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972 made for a well attended and spirited celebration this year. Anya Brickman Raredon MCP '11, Vice President of AMITA made brief remarks and each alumnae in attendance was called upon to join her on the stage to receive their scarves.

Moving the celebration out of the Cheney Room  a few years ago to another venue on campus has made it possible for family members to attend and provides for a meaningful experience among the attendees and their family members. Congratulations to our alumnae from the classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972!  Photos Courtesy of Karen Arenson '70
